Hope everyone had a good weekend. Lots happening this week as far as school goes. Please view the information below on what is coming in the final weeks and summer time.
MARCHING BAND DEPOSIT
We are taking $35 deposits for marching band. This is to have a head count so we can write marching drill and get things ready for students. The due date is May 20th, and we are taking it also at the June Band Booster meeting on June 10th, 2019 (starts at 5:30PM AL Time @ RHS Band Room).
PERCUSSION CAMP
Starting Tuesday, we will be having a mandatory percussion camp for all students planning on marching percussion next year. Please note, this includes all percussion (pit/battery/etc.) This camp is where all students will learn the basics of percussion (tenors, bass, snare, pit, cymbals) and work out who is on what. Camp will end at 4:30 PM AL time each day.
SENIOR BANNERS
2020 SENIORS: Senior Banners are set for July 14th 2019 @ 2PM at the RHS Gym. They are $75 each and checks need to be made out to the Athletic Club. If you are planning on getting these made and need your uniform, come see me ASAP.
STUDENT INSTRUMENTS
Please remember that ALL student owned instruments must go home this Friday. We will be inventorying instruments owned by the school and those left behind. Due to next week being exam week and some being exempt, we will not be playing our instruments. Students, please practice over the summer. Don't wait until the week before to start on your music. Get on the ball early and you will see the positive effects come band camp!
