The Preview Show will take place at 6 PM at RHS on the band's practice field. We hope to see you there to support the 2014 RHS Marching Bulldog Band as they give a preview of all their hard week this week!

Band Camp starts today! Hoping for overcast skies and a nice breeze all week...but being that sunscreen/hat and stay hydrated! Go Bulldogs! A few pictures from Friday of Rookie Camp. We have a great group of rookies this year! Unfortunately, due to the lack of interest to watch the DCI Performances in Opelika, AL tomorrow, there will not be a group going.
Leadership Day was a success and excited to welcome in the rookies tomorrow. We start at 8 AM and end at 12 PM. Please make sure you have a ride.
Percussion and Auxilliary Camps will begin at 1 PM, so if you are attending Rookie Camp first, bring a lunch! DCI Performance form below this post MUST be filled out by Wednesday! Lunch Menu for Band Camp (July 28 - August 1)
Drinks, chips, snacks, cookies, small deserts will be served each day If you are not going to eat one of the prepared lunches, you MUST bring something else to eat! I suggest a sandwich or something from home. There will not be an option to leave campus during band camp.
We will be ordering pizza from Giovanni's in Bowdon so bring about $5

Drum Line: Please remember that we are not rehearsing Monday, July 14 but will be going Tuesday - Thursday, Juiy 22-25, 1 PM - 5 PM (you have an hour in between Rookie Camp and Percussion Camp...bring a lunch/plan to get something at Country Boys). Auxiliary: Please remember you will have rehearsal Tuesday - Thursday, Juiy 22-25, 1 PM - 5 PM (you have an hour in between Rookie Camp and Percussion Camp...bring a lunch/plan to get something at Country Boys if you have to be at both). Leadership Day: Monday, July 21 9 AM - 3 PM. We will be eating lunch at the Bulldog (bring money). Rookie Camp: Tuesday - Thursday, July 22-25, 8 AM - 12 PM. Make sure you have a ride to pick you up at 12 PM. Band Camp: Monday - Friday, July 28-August 1, 8 AM - 5 PM. Lunch will be provided. Preview show 6 PM on Friday, August 1. First band fees are due by Friday, August 1! The July Booster meeting will take place on Monday, July 14th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. We hope to see you there as we discuss rookie camp, band camp, and this upcoming Fall. First band fee payment is due the week of band camp, July 28 - August 1.
We are appreciative that Dr. Ferdinand has volunteered his time to help out with physicals. They will be offered during a very small window on Friday, August 1st from 3 PM - 5 PM during band camp. We will have a sign up sheet for this beginning at 8 AM on the first day of band camp (July 28) and once the slots are full you will have to make other arrangements. I encourage everyone to go ahead and knock it out before band camp on your own. You must get a physical done before the first game and give Mr. Childs your documents. A physical from last year, will not work! Failure to provide a recent physical before the first game will result in not marching.
