I am here to give out some much-needed information about all of the events that will be surrounding our first home game tomorrow night, August 26th, vs Mt. Zion.
First off, students will need to remember to be in the band room by 4:30PM Central time in order to start getting ready and getting everything set up. I will be staying from the end of school until this time, so feel free to stick around after school.
Parents that are working the concession stand tomorrow night include the following people:
First half of the game:
Ann Gay
Angela Whitley
Leslie Clark
Carolyn Limon
Teresa Anderson
Loisann Fordham
Michael Fordham
Shannon Cobb
Terry/Jessica Gibson/Smith
April Shaw
Jessica Shaw
Harvey Banister
Amanda Smith
Second half of the game:
Leslie Clark
Carolyn Limon
Tammy Davenport
Loisann Fordham
Michael Fordham
Ethan Waits
April Shaw
Jessica Shaw
Amanda Smith
Harvey Banister
If you are working the first half at all, you will need to be arriving at the concession stand from 4-4:30PM central time to begin setting up for the game. For those that will be only working the first half of the game, your shift will end right at the beginning of halftime. For those working the second half of the game only, you will be working starting at the beginning of halftime all the way to the end of cleanup at the end of the game. Because times vary from game to game, those that are working the second half only will need to be sure to arrive in time for halftime to begin. I cannot give an exact time as to when this will be, but arriving early will never hurt! There will be a sign-in sheet in the concession stand for all workers to sign so that we know who all is there to work. If you have any questions, email me at jaron.smith@cleburneschools.net
Tomorrow we will be having a pep rally at the end of the school day, so students will need to wear their band tshirts to school tomorrow. Auxiliary may also wear their section shirts as long as everyone is coordinated and wearing the same thing.
We will be taking pre-orders for food from the concession stand for any of our students tomorrow as well, so be sure to bring cash if that is something that you would like to do. We will have a menu for you to choose from tomorrow at school. Each pre-ordered meal will be ready for each band student that paid for one at the beginning of third quarter break.
ALSO! Another reminder to mark your calendars for October 8th and October 22nd, these are the days that we will be performing in competition. Save these dates!
