It's already getting time to start getting excited about our trip to Chicago next Spring (May 2nd-May 5th 2018)! I have been making plans to ensure that our trip runs smoothly and that we have everything that we need this week. As for you all- We are setting our first payment for the Chicago trip up for the end of this month. The total cost of the trip is going to be broken up into 5 separate payments to ease the stress of paying a large sum all at once. Each payment will be $135 and will total to a cost of $675. HOWEVER- We are giving you PLENTY of time to earn a lot of the money for your trip through various fundraisers we will be having up until the deadline for all payments. The first of these fundraisers will be handed out today at school. Your payment of this first trip installment is your agreement to be fully committed to attending this trip- and PLEASE make every effort to pay this by the OCTOBER 31ST deadline (we will have a deposit we will have to pay first using the money from your first payment).
Now- some students have had multiple parents sign up for the trip, which is GREAT! However, the bus that we will be riding to Chicago seats 56 people. Students take priority on the bus, so we will be offering the rest of the seats on the bus up to the parents that SIGN UP FIRST (your official "sign up" is bringing in your first payment). If additional parents still would like to go but the seats on the bus have all already been filled, a group may arrange to ride in a separate vehicle that they provide/arrange (we can cross that bridge if and when we come to it). Please direct any and all questions towards myself and I will do my best to answer them! Also- I have our itinerary and will be posting it soon!
