I'm very excited about our game tomorrow at Horseshoe Bend, and I hope that you are all too! I can't wait to see what our entire show looks like from our first full performance. You guys have put in a lot of hard work and it is starting to pay off. A couple of things regarding tomorrow and the coming days:
Tomorrow we will need to arrive at the RHS band room at 3:30PM Central time in order to start getting ready and load up the trailer for the trip. The school bus will leave out at approximately 4:45PM Central time to head to the game. If you need to stay after school until time to load up, feel free to do so as I will be staying after school as well. Our trip will be roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes long, so please make sure that you use the restroom beforehand and plan on bringing concession money to get food during the game.
We will be having another pep rally tomorrow, so please wear your band shirts to school! You will also need BLACK SOCKS, YOUR SHOES and YOUR GLOVES for the game, so don't forget.
We will be arriving fairly late from the game, so please notify your parents/guardians ahead of time to be ready to come pick you up when we get back. Otherwise other parents and myself will be forced to sit and wait for them to pick you up at a very late hour. We will give a signal to call your parents/guardians when we get about thirty minutes from returning to school.
After the pep rally, please place your instruments close to the band room door so that the loading crew will have an easier time loading everything.
Once the game has ended, we will be cleaning up all of our trash in the stands before we can leave. Last week we left a mess in the stands and we WILL NOT do the same thing again.
IMPORTANT: Tomorrow MORNING is the last time for anyone to turn in money for a homecoming t-shirt. I am submitting the orders during first period. You can bring your order forms to either myself or the front desk at the office.
Start bringing in your cup money ASAP! It is all due by next Friday.
